If you see lots of emergency vehicle lights at the Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida tonight, don't worry. It's the hospital's annual Friday Night Lights event.
Emergency vehicles from EMS, fire and police from Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties will shine their lights on the hospital to wish the children a safe, good night’s sleep.
The patients, families and staff will wave glow wands back to the emergency personnel to say “good night” to them.
Prior to the good night light shining, the emergency personnel will tour and visit with patients. And patients who are able can come out for a close-up view of the vehicles.
Vehicles will be shining lights from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
