Corn Hole Tournament and Food Truck Cookout
Naples Therapeutic Riding Center 206 Ridge Drive, Naples, Florida 34108
The Naples Therapeutic Riding Center, a nonprofit organization providing therapeutic horseback riding and other equine-facilitated group services to children and adults with physical, social and mental health needs, hosts its third annual corn hole tournament and food truck cookout, with Matt’s Red Hots, under the covered arena on the center's campus .
The event is being hosted by NTRC’s young professionals group, Young Professional Strides, whose mission is to cultivate ambassadors charged with generating awareness and support for the nonprofit’s mission.
The event features a corn hole tournament, raffle and a variety of tailgating-style food truck options. This family-friendly event is an open house format designed to introduce new people to NTRC’s mission, programs and campus. Tours will also be available. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team.
Proceeds from the event will be used to purchase the specialized riding helmets required for NTRC to maintain its status as a certified premier equine therapy center. These helmets meet safety regulations for children and adults in therapeutic riding programs.
Event chairperson and NTRC board member, Brian McNamara says, “Attending the corn hole tournament gives friends and future friends of NTRC a great opportunity to learn more about what this great organization does while enjoying some friendly competition and delicious food.”
Complimentary beer is provided, and food and beverage are available for purchase. The cost to play in the tournament is $25 per person or $50 per team. Non-playing guests can join the fun and support their favorite team for a $20 per person donation.
