Block Party

To celebrate Bean to Cup Coffee Lounge's first anniversary, the cafe is throwing a two-day block party with food trucks, live music, art vendors, face painting and BOGO specials on all drinks. Pets and families welcome. Birthday cake will be served while it lasts.

“It has always been my dream to have a coffee shop, and everyone in the neighborhood has been so positive and supportive of our concept,” says owner Melody Teague.

On Saturday, Dave’s Cosmic Subs will be onsite from noon to 6 p.m. serving their cosmically delicious brand of sandwiches. Sunday will feature the Indian delicacies of I Love Curry, as well as face painting, from noon to 6 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by Greg “Bud” Risner.

Open daily for breakfast and lunch, Bean to Cup Coffee Lounge features fair trade, organic coffee and tea drinks, with healthy milk alternatives, including cashew, coconut, almond, soy, rice and macadamia nut milks. Homemade baked goods made fresh every day include gluten-free, vegan and sugar-free options. Organic fresh squeezed juice and smoothies are local favorites.
